The Jones Center for Families will be able to help improve studio classrooms thanks to a $10,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

The gift was announced recently at the Jones Center for Families in Springdale. Kent Williamson, Julie Shook and Ashley Allen of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check to Ed Clifford, chief executive officer of the Jones Trust, Kelly Kemp-McClintock, chief advancement officer and Brandi Holt, advancement specialist of the Jones Center for Families.

“We are so appreciative of the Arvest Foundation for their generous gift to help with the renovation of two popular studio classroom spaces at The Jones Center. Studios A & B are where Children’s Dance & Gymnastics programs are taught. We’ll be adding a new sound system, youth dance barre, parent observation windows, and all new gymnastics equipment. We hope to roll out the new updates in the first quarter of 2019,” Kemp-McLintock said. “We could not do what we do if it weren’t for the important support of our corporate & foundation partners.

“The Jones Center is a world-class recreation and education facility. Our NWA community is very fortunate to have this type of venue in our backyard for all walks of life and ages to enjoy. We are so pleased to be able to provide this donation to support the mission of the Jones Center,” Allen said. “This donation is just one of many we have made throughout the area, and it demonstrates the foundation’s ongoing commitment to those who live, work and play throughout our footprint.”
