Arvest Hires Kyle Davidson as Commercial Banker in Mountain Home

Arvest Bank has hired Kyle Davidson as a commercial banker in Mountain Home. He will be located at the bank branch at 819 Wallace Knob Road.


Davidson has 18 years of banking experience and most recently was market president of Bear State Bank’s North Central Arkansas division. He also has served as vice president for First Security Bank in Mountain Home and was employed by First National Bank of Eastern Arkansas in Forrest City where he began his career in banking. 

“Kyle has been a leader and mentor in the banking industry for a long time and the opportunity to have him join the Arvest team is exciting for all of us here in North Central Arkansas,” said Sally Gilbert, market president of Arvest Bank in Mountain Home. “He has contributed to our community in many ways, both professionally and personally, and we look forward to the great work he will do for our customers.” 

Davidson earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural finance from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.  

He is a past president of the emerging leaders section of the Arkansas Bankers Association. Davidson and his family attend River Bible Church in Mountain Home.

Arvest Bank Hires Katy Donovan as Branch Sales Manager in Harrison

Arvest Bank has hired Katy Donovan who will serve as branch sales manager for the bank’s Northside branch located at 700 North Main Street in Harrison. 


Donovan has almost 20 years of experience in the banking industry and comes to Arvest from Bear State Bank in Harrison where she was the market coordinator for the bank. She also has experience as a teller supervisor, personal banker and financial service representative. 

“Katy is a returning member of the Arvest Bank family and we are thrilled to welcome her back to the team,” said Scott Tennyson, market president of Arvest Bank in Harrison. “Her broad experience with multiple organizations greatly benefits her in her new role and our customers will benefit from that knowledge as well.”

Donovan, her husband and children have been residents of Harrison for six years. They are members of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Arvest Bank Hires Cody Gregory as Commercial Banker in Harrison

Arvest Bank has hired Cody Gregory as a commercial banker in Harrison. Gregory has almost four years of experience in the banking industry and most recently worked as a loan officer for Bear State Bank in Harrison. 


“Cody will be a great asset to our company and the fact that he grew up in Harrison and is well-respected by this community are additional benefits for us,” said Scott Tennyson, market president of Arvest Bank in Harrison. “We look forward to the great work he will do for our customers in this area.”

Gregory is a graduate of Valley Springs High School. He earned an associate’s degree from NorthArk College and a bachelor’s degree from Cox College, graduating cum laude from both. He attended consumer lending school and commercial lending school, both of which are programs of the Arkansas Bankers Association.

He is an ambassador for the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Harrison Kiwanis Club. Gregory and his family are members of Crossroads Community Church.

He will be located at Arvest’s Hester Crossing branch at 1402 Hwy. 62-65 North in Harrison.

Arvest Bank Promotes Hunnicutt in Russellville

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has promoted Elizabeth Hunnicutt to branch sales manager in Russellville.


Hunnicutt has more than five years of industry experience and had been working at Arvest as an assistant branch manager. In her new role, she will manage the activities of the Arvest branch at 121 N. Elmira Ave.

“Liz’s passion for helping people, and the communities that we serve, is evident through the relationships that she has built and the time that she takes to invest in helping others,” Arvest branch administrator Jamie Duke said. “I am confident that the Elmira team will have nothing but continued success under Liz’s guidance and leadership.”

Hunnicutt attended Pottsville High School and the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. She lives in Russellville.

Arvest Bank to Celebrate Grand Opening in Prairie Grove

Arvest Bank will celebrate a grand opening for its new Prairie Grove location with a ribbon-cutting and brief presentation on Tuesday, Sept. 18.


The event is set for 3-5 p.m. at the branch located at 999 E. Heritage Parkway. The public is invited to attend.

The new branch will have 4,240 square feet, with the possibility to expand another 2,400 square feet, and will be accessible via three driveways. Additionally, the branch will feature three drive-thru lanes, an ATM lane and 21 parking spaces.

A total of 13 employees, including licensed banker Melissa Lowery, will work at the branch.

“We’ve been watching and waiting with anticipation for this branch to be completed, and now we are excited to welcome everyone to come see our new location,” said Donny Story, president and CEO for Arvest in Fayetteville. “We believe this new branch will be more convenient to – and help us serve the needs of – our customers in Prairie Grove and the surrounding area.”

In addition to the ribbon-cutting and brief presentation by Story, a representative of Prairie Grove Chamber of Commerce will offer remarks. Also in attendance will be Prairie Grove mayor Sonny Hudson and Arvest architectural management director Kelly Sutterfield.
